8th EVCBMAW Congress: Call for Abstracts Now Open

We are delighted to announce that the call for abstracts for the 8th European Veterinary Congress of Behavioural Medicine and Animal Welfare (EVCBMAW) is now open.

The congress will take place from September 30 to October 2, 2026 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, under the theme “An interdisciplinary approach to behavioural medicine, animal welfare, ethics and law.”

Submission Guidelines

We welcome abstracts on all topics related to veterinary behavioural medicine, animal welfare science, ethics, and related disciplines. Abstracts should be submitted in English and should not exceed 400 words.

Important Dates

• Abstract submission deadline: June 30, 2026
• Notification of acceptance: July 31, 2026
• Early bird registration deadline: August 15, 2026
• Congress dates: September 30 – October 2, 2026
